Austria Awaits

Several months ago I called Calvary Global Network and asked how Acts 19 Ministries might be able to partner with them (CGN). What came about was a wonderful turn of events. The Chief Operational Officer (C.O.O.) of CGN said he would like to come up to Santa Maria and have lunch with us (Apr 29th) while we discuss what Acts 19 Ministries does and how it might possibly be integrated into CGN. Pastor Clay Worrell drove up from Orange County, CA, to visit and talk.

Our background with Clay Worrell goes back quite a way, and now we see the handiwork of the Lord in it all. Pastor Clay and his family were missionaries in Ireland for years and have been one of my son’s closest friends. Several years back Lucy and I decided to invest in his ministry up in Calvary Chapel Pleasanton, CA, as well as invest in one of their missionaries in Germany. Felt “led to”, and pretty much knew it had to be the Holy Spirit. Last year Pastor Clay was asked by Calvary Global Network at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa to move down to Orange County and take the C.O.O. position of CGN. I’ll bet he has thought deeply about that decision ever since. Our friendship with the Worrells has grown over the years and we have appreciated their care for us.

Partnering with CGN was a dream and as we met for lunch Clay asked us to consider coming down to Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa to participate in the 2022 CGN International Conference. They paid our conference fees and asked that we would make ourselves available for the Prayer Teams during the conference. We were give so much favor at the Conference and fully enjoyed joining Kris Olson (Prophetic Prayer Team Leader at CCCM) in the packed full appointment calendar for those three days. We met so many Calvary Chapel Pastors and Leaders hungry for encouragement and comfort. Thankfully Lucy and I were able to speak into their lives and give them hope for future ministry.

CGN also asked us if we would be interested in traveling to Millstatt, Austria in July to minister to Ukrainian families affected by the Russian war. Lucy and I almost yelled “YES!” when we were asked and have been anticipating difficult, but glorious, things there. This important conclave of hundreds of Pastors and Leaders is intended to provide them with Trauma counseling, recreation for their families, and encouraging prayer and personal ministry (our part).

We have been praying and studying into this since we were asked and anticipate long hours and deep results. Please partner with us from July 15 - July 25th as we walk into the center of God’s perfect will for us.
