What a joy!

As I have been adding Sermon Notes to our Webpage it has been quite encouraging to see how many Books of the Bible we had the honor of teaching over our 40 years in ministry.
I began in 1977 teaching the book of The Revelation of Jesus Christ in an adult Sunday school class at WauKena Brethren in Christ church in WauKena, CA. (part of Tulare County) The size of the congregation required that we teach the class in the Nursery throughout all 22 chapters - that was great training to not get distracted when teaching. I didn’t know then that I would someday be Pastoring the small church there.
Uploading the Pdf files has allowed me to see the creation dates for each of the sermons - really amazing!

Lucy and I had the priviledge of working 6 different jobs at the same time by 1991. I was teaching Chemistry and Biology at Kings Christian High School in Lemoore, CA, on weekday mornings, cleaning 25 pool accounts in the afternoons and Saturdays, teaching Bible College at Chowchilla Women’s Prison on Thursday and Friday nights, as well as teaching Bible College at Corcoran Men’s Prison on Saturday mornings. I Pastored Waukena BIC Church on Sunday mornings and our new church plant in Hanford, CA, each Sunday evening. Lucy was a Pre-school director every weekday at the local 1st Baptist Church - she truly loved that job. Somehow our children were raised with a godly heart and we had very intimate home worship. Sweet time, though quite busy!

Once I had a computer that would actually keep track of sermons, i left my volumes of legal pad sermons in the file cabinets - still have them - and my Son wants them.
